My last Post.



Ok, this is my last post, and today I am talk, about: my experience learning English. In my experience learning English in the university is a very boring experience, but the problem is not the teacher, the university or student… in my opinion is the learning escenario. Because in this format, we don’t have interest to learn English. Maybe is important in the life, in the academic but not, in the class room.   
About the use of the blog it is interesting but is not an important. For example, in other subject we need read in English to learn about some topic, so I read, translate and learn English not only for that, I learn because I have other objective, I want learn about my subject, so I read in English for that, and I learn English, but is a learn with sense.
I think, I need to be improved to my English in the oral aspect and the my daily life aspect. Because, when I traveled I needed to talk with other people, I needed take a bus and buy food. And in this format a can´t learn this aspect… so my plan is travel for learn. 
Outside the English class I am using the English all the time, when i see a movie, i read a book, for my studies or when i talk whith brother´s. Maybe my English, is not a good English, but i used it all the time (a little, but I used). I used English to play whit others or learn about new idea in some subject, because the newpapers are all in English… so I need read this papers in English. 

My study program

I think, in my program study, and I would not change anything. Because, the problem in my opinion, isn´t the contents of the subjects. I think the problem is the teaching methods. But, specifically the problem is not de teacher, is the institutions.

In the University of Chile we have classical methods to teach and the experience of learn is passive and paternalistic. We receive de contents of the class and these contents are estipulate by the teacher before of the class (this is not a problem), but the students and the contents are independent to the process to learn, And this is a problem. Because we can´t appropriate to the learn and contents, because, this are not my. 

The faculty don´t facilities the appropriate space to learn in the university. We need labs, library, room for study with blackboards, chairs and tables. We need armchairs to talk in group, and in some opportunities we need time to sleep and a place to sleep (the university is demanding). We need healthy food.  When I eat in the casino I need to go sleep after, because the food is not appropriate to a university (for anyone). We need a special food, we need fruits, integral bread, salads (we have salads but are a joke. They are not nutritive), natural juice (we have a natural juice, but is expensive). We need to space to recreate us, for sports, for sing, or other groups and disiplines in to the university.

We don’t have technology (material technology) we have only one computer room and that all.

So, in resume the university is in precarity state and the teachers can´t change his class… some teacher try, and they have an amazing job. Some students try to and have an amazing job to… and this is hopeful.
